AMD's New Ryzen AI Processors: A Mixed Bag of Performance

Interestingly, this processor was initially named the Ryzen AI 7 Pro 160, but AMD changed the naming convention from the 100 series to the 300 series at the last minute.

Benchmark Performance

In the CrossMark benchmark, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 scored 1,713 points overall. It achieved 1,549 points in productivity, 2,128 points in creativity, and 1,212 points in responsiveness. These scores highlight its robust performance across various tasks.

On the other hand, the Ryzen AI 7 Pro 360 didn't fare as well, underperforming compared to older models. This mixed performance indicates that while AMD's new Ryzen AI series has the potential to be powerful, not all models deliver consistent results.
